As a Security Officer Licensed Armed Patrol Driver in Raleigh NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points verify credentials and screen incoming and outgoing traffic as directed to help to support controlled entry and restricted area compliance.
• Communicate with site personnel supervisors and/or first responders regarding unusual activity operational concerns and incident updates while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
