As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Agent in Dallas TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Pay Rate: $25.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control activities and appropriate emergency response actions at a government location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior and exterior areas including perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points verify credentials and support restricted area access procedures in accordance with post orders agency policies and Allied Universal standards.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with post requirements and maintain professional readiness to respond to escalating situations while following use of force guidelines and reporting protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
