As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Perimeter Patrol in Pittsburgh PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a retail location. Conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents respond to security-related concerns and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This armed role requires Act 235 qualification and a concealed carry weapons permit. Bring integrity teamwork and a people-first approach to a reliable innovative team.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients customers and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas entrances parking areas loading zones and the surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor for unusual activity potential hazards and policy violations; document observations and complete incident reports according to site procedures.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies applicable laws and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
