Pay Rate: $24.49 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team in Bridgeport CT. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises enforcing policies and responding to incidents as needed. This role requires a high level of integrity situational awareness and the ability to work a rotating schedule.
Schedule
- Rotating shifts:
- 0(Day Shift)
- (Evening Shift)
- Flexibility required including weekends and holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide armed security presence and patrol assigned areas
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials
- Respond promptly to alarms emergencies and incidents
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property
- Complete accurate reports and incident documentation
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- De-escalate conflicts and handle situations professionally
- Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior armed security military or law enforcement experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- CT Pistol Permit
Additional Requirements
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Must be physically able to stand walk and patrol for extended periods
- Firearms proficiency and safety training required
- Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime if needed
