Job Summary
The Early Childhood Curriculum Program Supervisor provides statewide leadership and oversight for curriculum implementation instructional quality initiatives and educator support activities designed to strengthen early childhood classroom practices across Arkansas. The position supervises Early Childhood Regional Specialists and supports statewide implementation of the Pre-K RISE Initiative including Launchpad LETRS for Early Childhood (EC) and an Early Childhood Comprehensive Curriculum aligned to the Arkansas Child Development and Early Learning Standards (AR CDELS).The position also supports statewide implementation of the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) observation framework and related coaching professional development and instructional quality initiatives. The Program Supervisor works under the direction of the Arkansas Department of Education Office of Early Childhood and collaborates with state regional and local partners to improve instructional quality and outcomes for children ages birth to five ResponsibilitiesThe Early Childhood Curriculum Program Supervisor leads statewide coordination and implementation efforts related to curriculum instructional supports coaching and professional learning initiatives within early childhood programs. Responsibilities include supervising Early Childhood Regional Specialists and supporting the planning organization and delivery of statewide training and technical assistance activities related to Pre-K RISE initiatives and instructional quality Program Supervisor oversees activities that support implementation of Launchpad LETRS for Early Childhood (EC) and an Early Childhood Comprehensive Curriculum aligned to AR CDELS. The position works to ensure instructional materials classroom practices and coaching supports are implemented consistently and effectively across participating programs and providers.
