Position Specific Description

The incumbent in this role will report to the Senior Director of Security and Aviation within the Corporate Security Department. This position is based in our Houston corporate office location (Please note relocation to this location is not being offered) and occasional travel will be required as assignments may occur anywhere within the NextEra Energy Inc. service territories. Our areas of focus include: Strong customer orientation cost effective operations commitment to quality speed simplicity and flexibility.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Conducts and manages investigations in support of asset protection and safe and secure workplace policies
Develops and conducts security training and awareness for employees and makes presentations to senior management on the strategic direction of security program
Position requires frequent travel to Juno BeachFl and other parts of the US. Estimate percentage of travel is 25% of the time
Support FPL Storm restoration efforts
Perform NERC CIP Facility Service Reviews
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
