We are looking to add talented and passionate individuals to join our Redwood Family and we invite you to explore and learn more about our career :The Area Program Manager provides operational leadership and oversight of assigned programs ensuring Redwood Family Care Network isadhering to all applicable rules regulations policies and laws related to service delivery. Assists the DistrictManager in overseeing day-to-day program operations staffing compliance quality assurance employeedevelopment and fiscal direct supervision and support to Administrators and/or Program Managers to ensure quality services aredelivered to individuals supported. Works collaboratively with all levels of management agency officials RegionalCenters licensing agencies and staff as necessary. Supports employee coaching and development throughleadership guidance training and performance management. Acts as the District Managers designee as assignedand assists with district-wide operational DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide direct supervision coaching and support to Administrators and/or Program Managers within theassigned geographical the District Manager in overseeing daily operations of assigned programs and residential Regular Quality Assurance reviews through My Field Audits of individual records documentationand MARs to ensure that service delivery is appropriate to meet the needs of the person served and personal staffing levels ensuring required hours and support / supervision are provided scheduling practicesovertime utilization and employee performance to ensure operational observe service delivery on-site and monitor for demonstration of knowledge ie: ISP requirementsindividual health needs behavior management techniques and emergency the DM informed of all critical incidents or clinical on and/or facilitate Human Rights Committee meetings as designated by the District Manager andcoordinate admissions in conjunction with the placement team and District for employee coaching development accountability discipline and employee relations incollaboration with the District Manager and Human regular site visits and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with company policies andregulatory in developing implementing and maintaining staff training plans that outline expectations accountability standards and professional development and or Monitor Training for all staff in least restrictive techniques behavior management activetreatment client rights prevention of abuse and neglect documentation / data collection emergencyprocedures and other areas as needed or required by the and monitor facility files documentation and program records to ensure compliance with CaliforniaCode of Regulations Title 17 Title 22 and company all homes/programs maintain compliance with Community Care Licensing requirements RegionalCenter regulations and Redwood Family Care Network as agency liaison working with service providers Regional Center representatives Community CareLicensing families conservators and other agencies as with investigations incident reviews corrective action plans and follow-up activities related to healthsafety and compliance General Event Reports (GERs) incident reports client notes and other documentation to identifytrends and ensure timely resolution of in Individual Program Plan (IPP) interdisciplinary (ID) transition team meetings and other serviceplanning meetings as the District Manager in monitoring budgets labor costs staffing utilization and monthly a culture of safety accountability professionalism and person-centered services throughoutassigned -call as needed and provide leadership support for emergencies staffing shortages medical incidents andcrisis as a member of the District Management oversight of vehicle timely performance management and coaching to ensure employees are productive accountableand successful in their train evaluate and Monitor Administrator/Program Manager regular meetings with employees to share information and develop action as District Manager designee during absences and provide operational leadership as other related duties and assignments as Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge: Services supplied in accordance with Title 17 & 22 Regional Center contracts facility program design and Individual Program Plans; state and federal laws Department of Social Services Department of Developmental Services State Council on Developmental :Tact and discretion in a diverse multicultural multi-ethnic environment; leadership skills analytical skills organizational skills time management skills interpersonal skills independent judgment conflict resolution employee coaching and decision making; ability to analyze situations and adopt an effective course of :Demonstrated ability working in a collaborative team environment maintaining positive relationships; assisting in compiling and presenting narrative/statistical reports in a concise and comprehensive manner; able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English; ability to manage multiple programs and priorities AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelors degree preferred and/or equivalent experience and other special training as required by the program designs including contract required and if applicable Prevention & Support certification Applicable Administrator Licensure for all license types within the district (ARF GH etc.)Minimum of 3 years of increasing management experience and/or responsibilitiessupervising residential programs serving adults with developmental and intellectual supervising Administrators Program Managers or equivalent leadership positions with regulatory compliance employee relations quality assurance and operational maintain current certifications and Requirements:This position works in an office home and outside environment.
