Schedule:Days (1.0) FTE

Days:M-F

Rotation: Every other weekend

Location: LUMC and Satellite locations as needed

Use your ultrasound expertise to support early detection and life-changing carejoin the Breast Imaging and General Ultrasound team at Loyola Medicine

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ARDMSregistered Ultrasound Technologist-to join our imaging team. Under the general supervision of an attending radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols the Ultrasound Technologist utilizes highfrequency sound waves and advanced diagnostic techniques to produce highquality ultrasound images. These images support accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care across General Ultrasound and Breast Imaging services. Will supports Ultrasound -Breast imaging

Areas of Coverage

  • General Ultrasound

  • Breast Imaging including:

    • Breast ultrasoundguided biopsies

    • Diagnostic mammography ultrasound

    • Whole Breast Ultrasound

What youll need

Required:

  • ARDMSregistered Ultrasound

  • Associate Degree; graduate from an accredited two-year Ultrasound Program required; OR equivalent training acquired via work experience

  • Specific Degree(s): AMA approved Sonography program;

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) approved school of Ultrasound Technology

  • Less than one year of previous job-related experience

  • rotation with a minimum of 1680 total hours from an accredited program

Licensure/Certifications

Required:

  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from American Heart Association ONLY

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)-Specialization in Abdomen Ob/Gyn or PS

Pay Range: $39.00 $59.00 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
