Job Summary
A well-established semi-custom production cabinet shop located in Pottstown PA is seeking an Estimator to join their team. This person will be responsible for preparing project bids and CAD shop drawings for millwork and cabinetry projects for a variety of clients. This position coordinates projects from the initial bidding and estimating process through production and shipment of awarded projects. Job Duties: Communicate with clients architects and other project representatives to determine project scope specifications and requirements; Visit job sites as necessary to review existing conditions and gather information required for estimating and project development; Review and interpret architectural drawings blueprints and project specifications to determine the scope of work and prepare accurate material takeoffs; Contact vendors and subcontractors to obtain current material labor and related costs necessary for project bids.
