We are seeking an experienced Architect/Designer to join a growing design-build team focused on high-end residential and light commercial projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead projects from initial concept through design development while collaborating closely with clients construction professionals and internal stakeholders to create innovative functional and visually compelling spaces.

The ideal candidate will combine strong architectural expertise with project management skills and a client-focused approach. This individual will play a critical role in transforming client visions into thoughtfully designed environments while ensuring projects align with budgets schedules and quality expectations.

• Develop architectural concepts designs and construction documents for residential and light commercial projects.
• Lead projects through the design phase from initial client consultation to final design approval.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings specifications and project documentation.
• Collaborate with clients consultants engineers and construction teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Guide clients through material finish and interior design selections to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
• Manage multiple active projects while maintaining design quality and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes zoning requirements and industry standards.
• Utilize architectural design technology and drafting software to optimize project workflows.
• Support project planning budgeting scheduling and coordination efforts throughout the design process.
• Participate in client presentations and design review meetings.

• Bachelors Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Architectural licensure preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of architectural design experience.
• Minimum 5 years of residential and/or light commercial construction experience.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Construction methods
  • Building systems
  • Building materials
  • Applicable building codes and regulations
• Demonstrated experience managing projects through the design phase.
• Proficiency with architectural design and drafting software.
• Excellent communication presentation and client relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative design-build environment.

• High-end custom residential design.
• Design-build project delivery environments.
• Interior finish fixture and material selection consultation.
• Client-facing project leadership.
• Light commercial project design and coordination.

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Chief Architect
• Adobe Creative Suite
