GENERAL PURPOSE

Swim Coach needed for the Ogden High/Ben Lomond High Pools year-roundswim team program.

Essential functions:

• Instructs various levels of lessons. Keeps accurate records of lessons being taught.
• Provides a structured format for the proper progression and development at the appropriate levels of the participant taking the private lesson.
• Provides quality customer service including interacting with participants and/or parents to answer questions and resolve problems.
• Ensures all possible safety measures are observed. Responds to emergency situations as required and maintains accurate accident and incident reports.
• Communicates enforces and complies with city and departmental rules and regulations policies and procedures. Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
• Responsible for the set-up and tear-down of any required equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (STUDENT)

• Must be at least 16 years old.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (ADULT)

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of related experience.
