Application Technician III

JENEsys by Lynxspring is key to extending connectivity integration interoperability Internet enablement and control to our customers applications. Lynxspring embeds the revolutionary Niagara N4 and AX Framework on the JENEsys platform. Niagara is a powerful software suite designed for device-to-device connectivity and is widely accepted as the building automation solution of choice by many of todays largest manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
- The number one responsibility of this position is to work with internal and external customers regarding technical support questions via email and phone.
- Requires accurate diagnostics analysis and data gathering in pursuit of resolutions through research and tools available.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the technical support team and be a technical resource for the leadership and sales team.
- Collaborate with team members to help them solve support requests and develop their skill set.
- Attend company meetings on product development and provide input for product releases.
- Help review product documentation for Lynxspring products.
- Respond to interdepartmental requests for information and assist in testing.
- Coordinate with third-partyproduct suppliers to help solve support requests from customers.
- Help develop departmental standards.
- Provide insight into the actual use of products customer experience installation and implementation.
Skills Knowledge and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience with the Niagara framework associated drivers IP & serial networks to include commonly used protocols for the BAS industry (Bacnet LON Modbus etc.) application programming BAS controllers control interfaces e.g. sensors transmitters transducers capable of reading circuit wiring project drawings and engineering submittals good understanding of HVAC and Electrical fundamentals. Understanding PC configurations servers and networking.
- Aid with testing diagnostics analyses and report feedback on applications Lynxspring products third-party devices or RMA products for both end users/customers or internal development.
- Provide accurate detailed and concisely written emails with all associated documentation and information necessary to support the solution.
- Provide prompt responses to all phone calls or emails in a courteous and professional manner.
- The employee will be made aware of the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and how they can contribute to them.
- One to two years of field experience is required.
