Join Ghost Basis the team behind the mission-critical services that power Vanguards cost basis platform. As a Senior Java Developer youll design and build high-scale Java/Spring Boot APIs deliver new client and business capabilities and solve challenges involving performance resiliency and large-scale data processing. Youll work closely with a talented team of engineers help mentor and develop junior developers and play a key role in shaping solutions used across Vanguard and supporting millions of client accounts.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot development REST API design distributed systems and system integration. Strong knowledge of service architecture performance optimization debugging resiliency and production support.
• Must-have skills: Java Spring Boot REST/GraphQL APIs AWS compute and storage including ECS S3 Lambda and IAM GitHub Splunk Honeycomb.
• Nice-to-have skills: Python Angular React Node AWS relational databases SQL queries event-based architecture TDD/BDD.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers perform code reviews and influence technical direction across a team.
• Knowledge of Agile Confluence JIRA; aptitude for continuous process improvement for process flows/workflows.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
