Application Developer Co-op

We are looking for highly motivated student to join our team as Application Developer Co-op from January- August 2027.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

• Support the development testing and enhancement of business applications and software solutions.
• Write test troubleshoot and maintain code using languages and tools such as C# XML SQL and related technologies.

• Support software quality assurance testing debugging and issue resolution.

• Work with data to develop reports dashboards and other solutions that support business decision-making.

• Collaborate with developers business partners and other team members throughout the development process.

• Use tools such as Jira Git and approved AI tools to support development documentation and project work.

• Identify opportunities to improve or automate existing applications processes and reporting solutions.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Enrollment in a related bachelors degree program (Computer Science Computer Engineering Industrial Engineering Business Analytics Statistics or similar degree with technical aptitude)

• On track to graduate in the next 3 semesters

• Experience with object-oriented programming through coursework projects or previous work.

• Familiarity with C# SQL XML or similar programming languages and technologies.

• Exposure to software development tools and practices such as Git Jira testing debugging and version control.

• Familiarity with databases structured data and querying data using SQL.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an interest in developing technical solutions.

• Ability to collaborate on projects and communicate effectively with both technical and business partners.

• Exposure to Power BI Python data visualization or AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay. The starting base pay range for this position is $20.00/hour - $28.00/hour and is based on position and academic year.

In addition to competitive pay co-ops receive paid time off for company-observed holidays and are eligible for additional financial support through a housing allowance or sign-on bonus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial motions of the wrists hands and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.
