Application Analyst II - Samaritan Hospital/St. Marys Campus - FT Days


Come join our long-term care revenue and billing team at SPHP! Work as a team member of a fast paced collaborative experienced team at our St. Marys location in Troy NY!

The Application Analyst is responsible for the implementation support maintenance and optimization of health care billing and business applications. This role works closely with Revenue Cycle and Finance who ensure applications function efficiently support operational goals and comply with health care regulations organizational standards and vendor requirements.

The Analyst provides technical and functional support for billing systems troubleshoots issues manages upgrades and enhancements and assists with workflow improvements to support accurate and timely revenue cycle operations.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in business healthcare administration computer technology informationmanagement computer science information systems or related field required or relevant workexperience.
  • Training in system analysis with special emphasis on system methodologies projectmanagement and business process reengineering related to information systems preferred.


EXPERIENCE:

  • Five to seven years of experience as an analyst in acute care setting.
  • Ability to provide value-added support to two or more applications with limited supervision

Pay range: $25.97-$41.55

Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
