Application Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Application Administrator to manage maintain and optimise enterprise applications. This role is responsible for ensuring application availability performance security and user support across business systems.

The ideal candidate has experience with application lifecycle management system configuration and troubleshooting in a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and maintain business applications and systems
• Monitor application performance uptime and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues and incidents
• Manage user access roles and permissions
• Perform system updates patches and upgrades
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues
• Maintain documentation for configurations processes and procedures
• Support integration between applications and other systems
• Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection standards
• Assist in testing and deployment of new features or applications

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 25 years of experience in application support or administration
• Experience with enterprise applications (ERP CRM HR systems etc.)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL Server Oracle MySQL)
• Understanding of system integrations APIs and middleware
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
