About this Position
The Application Administrator provides professional and technical expertise to support enterprise technology services ensuring alignment with OSU/A&M System goals compliance requirements and departmental priorities. This position is responsible for performing specialized operational technical or analytical tasks within the assigned domain.
The Application Administrator configures maintains and supports customer-facing applications within the OSU A&M System using critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role ensures applications are reliable user-friendly and meet business needs by executing day-to-day administration and providing responsive support to end users.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Four years related work experience.
Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to confidentiality integrity and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors
Technology-related field.
Four years experience administering IT systems.
Certifications Registrations and/or Licenses:
A ITIL HDI PMP or related.
Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
Experience with a Higher Education technology environment
