Job Title: Apple/macOS Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location: Washington DC (Hybrid Remote with occasional onsite support as needed)

Job Description:

We are seeking an Apple/macOS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead enterprise Apple device management initiatives across macOS and iOS environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in JAMF Apple Business Manager macOS administration and endpoint security driving the successful deployment management and support of Apple technologies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize JAMF Pro environments for enterprise device management.
• Manage Apple Business Manager (ABM) for device enrollment provisioning and lifecycle operations.
• Design implement and maintain macOS configuration profiles security policies and compliance controls.
• Support enterprise device enrollment deployment provisioning patching and decommissioning processes.
• Implement and maintain secure device management practices across macOS and Apple mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot complex macOS JAMF and Apple ecosystem issues.
• Develop and maintain device management standards operational procedures and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with endpoint security infrastructure and service desk teams to improve Apple platform management.
• Support asset management device inventory accuracy and lifecycle governance initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on Apple device management best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 6 years of endpoint engineering or systems engineering experience.
• Expert-level experience administering JAMF Pro.
• Strong macOS administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM).
• Experience managing enterprise Apple device deployments and lifecycle operations.
• Strong understanding of Apple endpoint security and device management best practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale macOS environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading enterprise Apple deployment initiatives.
• Experience implementing endpoint security and compliance policies.
• Knowledge of identity integration conditional access and modern endpoint management practices.
• Experience supporting both macOS and iOS device ecosystems.
• Familiarity with enterprise mobility management (EMM/UEM) solutions.
• JAMF Certified Associate
• JAMF Certified Tech
• JAMF Certified Admin

Success Profile

• Candidates should demonstrate extensive experience managing enterprise macOS environments administering JAMF implementing Apple Business Manager enrollment workflows and supporting secure device lifecycle management across large-scale organizations.
