Opportunity Highlights:

• Practice at FirstHealths flagship campus 402 bed acute care regional referral center.
• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in med-neuro coronary care and CVT units.
• Enjoy a high degree of autonomy and professional satisfaction.
• Average census of 28 patients is split between 2 Physicians and 2 APPs per shift. Swing shift support. Nights covered by experienced APP.
• Block schedule 14 shifts per month.

• 2 years of Advanced Practice experience in a critical care setting is required.
• PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification. NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
• Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative judgment and discretion in decision making.
• Clean background NC license NC DEA and AHA ACLS certification required.
