Apartment Maintenance Technician

Vie Management is hiring an HVAC-certified maintenance technician to join our student housing community.

Compensation for this position is $23 per hour based on experience certifications and qualifications with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.

What Youll Do

Perform preventative maintenance and complete resident service requests in a timely manner
Diagnose repair and maintain HVAC systems including troubleshooting heating and cooling equipment
Complete plumbing electrical appliance drywall painting carpentry and general maintenance repairs
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents ensuring they meet company quality standards
Conduct routine inspections of buildings grounds and community amenities
Assist with emergency maintenance calls and participate in an on-call rotation including weekends and after-hours emergencies
Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and preventative maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable safety regulations
Maintain an organized maintenance shop inventory and equipment
Work closely with the management team to provide an exceptional resident experience through prompt professional service

Qualifications

EPA HVAC Certification required (Universal Certification preferred)
2 years of apartment maintenance facilities maintenance or related experience preferred
Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems is preferred
Knowledge of plumbing electrical appliances drywall painting and general maintenance repairs
Ability to prioritize multiple work orders in a fast-paced environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work including climbing ladders bending kneeling and working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Comfortable using smartphones tablets and mobile applications to manage work orders inspections and daily maintenance tasks.
Weekend holiday and on-call availability required
