Job Summary
TheMaintenance Technicianworks on work orders repairs renovations unit turnover and on-call emergencies. The Maintenance Technician will assist the Lead Maintenance Technician and the Community Manager in implementing maintenance programs policies procedures and preventative maintenance efforts.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in apartment maintenance required
Must be HVAC certified
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Deadline and detail-oriented
Responsibilities:
Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
Estimate time and extent of repairs
Perform routine preventive maintenance
Maintain material and supply inventory
Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
Maintain service logs and records as required
Be always courteous and pleasant to residents and co-workers.
Work on projects as assigned by Lead Maintenance and Community Manager.
Other duties as assigned.
$22-24/hour
