Job Summary
As a member of Apples commercial litigation team you will not be merely monitoring outside counsel. Rather you will personally be formulating and driving strategy as well as working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all product areas. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency independent judgment and a trial-focused approach. Travel is anticipated. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers legal specialists and support staff who work closely together to protect Apples role sits at Apples offices in London with a vibrant set of attorneys supporting other aspects of Apples business. The candidate will need to both work well with that team while also working with remote teams in the US and around the world.
3-5 years of major law firm and/or in-house litigation experiencenUK or other common law qualification as Solicitor Barrister or equivalentnExperience working on complex multi-jurisdictional proceedings; litigation experience in civil law jurisdictions a plusnFluent in oral and written English ability to work in at least one further European language a plusnUnderstanding of the need to match legal expertise to the business contextnExcellent communication analytical organization and negotiation skills are essentialnAble to work independently and also collaborate well with others in an organised manner
Experience with privacy antitrust product liability class actions and regulatory litigationnAbility to work in at least one further European languagenStrong technology interest and aptituden
