The North Plainfield School District is seeking a dynamic student-centered and experienced leader to serve as the Head Baseball Coach at North Plainfield High School.

North Plainfield is a diverse and vibrant community committed to developing the whole child through academics athletics and extracurricular opportunities. Our athletic programs emphasize excellence sportsmanship teamwork leadership and character development. We are seeking a coach who is passionate about building a comprehensive baseball program that supports student-athletes both on and off the field.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate or New Jersey Substitute Certificate.
Current CPR AED and First Aid certification (or obtain prior to the season).
Previous baseball coaching and/or playing experience preferred.
Knowledge of baseball fundamentals skill development and NJSIAA/NFHS rules.
Ability to plan and conduct practices and supervise student-athletes in a safe positive environment.
Strong communication leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with players parents administrators and staff.
Promote academic achievement sportsmanship teamwork leadership and positive character.
Successful completion of all district employment requirements and required NJSIAA coaching certifications.
