We have an opportunity for an electrical engineer who is seeking to utilize their strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave system theory and design including architectures subsystems components and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs). The successful candidate will employ their working knowledge of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and analytical skills in electromagnetic and microwave theory.

What You Will Do:

• Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications

• Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware

• Some travel to integration sites plus customer and subcontractor facilities may be required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.

• Experience or coursework that includes: Microwave Engineering Microwave Systems Electromagnetic Theory Radar Systems and MATLAB

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Microwave/RF system subsystem and component analysis design and test

• Hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS ADS CST Mentor Graphics Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab

• Experience in electrical interconnects and transmission line design

• Understanding of EMI analysis and mitigation techniques

• Understanding of allocating and flowing down requirements from the system to the component level

The salary range for this role is 57200 USD - 108800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
