Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Angio Tech Lead you will operate diagnostic equipment and perform a variety of technical angiography procedures.

Every day you will provide patient orientation explain procedures and deliver pre and post-diagnostic care until test completion. This includes positioning patients calibrating equipment and meticulously documenting findings.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate technical proficiency in angiography strong attention to detail for equipment operation and documentation and excellent patient communication skills to ensure comprehensive diagnostic imaging tests.

  • Supervisoryandleadershipskillsneededtomentorothertechnologists.
  • KnowledgeofproperuseandmaintenanceofAngioequipment. KnowledgeofAngioexaminationsaswellasproceduresthatrequiretheuseofcontrastagents. AbilitytomanagepatientsduringcomplexAngioproceduresexamssuchbiopsiesdrainagesetc. Abletofolloworalandwritteninstructionsandcommunicateeffectivelywithpatientsvisitorsandemployeeswithin theorganization.
  • KnowledgeandpracticeoftheALARA(Aslowasreasonablyachievable)standardswhenperformingexams. Knowledgeofpatienttransferandpositioningtechniques
  • Abilitytohandlemultipletasks/projectsandmeetdeadlines.
  • Demonstrationofethicalandprofessionalconduct.
  • Providegeneraloversightofinventoryschedulingstaffandmanagingboard/schedule.
Job Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience
  • BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association upon hire
  • Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) upon hire
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiographer through the Texas Board of Medicine upon hire and
  • Registered Technologist Vascular Inteventional Rad within 24 months or Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography within 24 months
