Experience 5 years of professional Android development experience
Language Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin; strong knowledge of Java
Architecture Hands-on experience with MVVM Clean Architecture or MVI patterns
Security Experience implementing biometric authentication encryption certificate pinning OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect
Testing Proficiency with JUnit Espresso Mockito Robolectric
CI/CD Experience setting up automated build and deployment pipelines
API Integration Strong experience with REST APIs GraphQL and real-time data (WebSockets)
Play Store Experience with Google Play Console app signing staged rollouts and release management
Version Control Proficiency with Git (GitHub GitLab or Bitbucket)

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience building mobile applications in the financial services wealth management or brokerage industry
Familiarity with financial data standards (FIX protocol market data feeds)
Experience with cross-platform parity projects (replicating iOS apps on Android or vice versa)
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for financial mobile apps (SOC 2 data privacy regulations)
Experience with analytics and crash reporting tools (Firebase Analytics Crashlytics Datadog)
Familiarity with design systems and maintaining consistency across platforms
Knowledge of accessibility testing tools and practices
