The Alaska Court System is seeking dependable and organized individuals to serve as bailiffsan important role that supports the courts mission of delivering fair and efficient justice.
As a bailiff you will be responsible for escorting jurors in and out of the courtroom before during and after trials. Youll help maintain the integrity of the deliberation process by ensuring that jurors are not contacted or influenced by outside addition you will assist with coordinating meals lodging and transportation for jurors when necessary and youll accompany them to meals and provide support for basic personal errands as needed.

The Schedule
These positions are on-call and temporary and may work multiple days in a row. The applicant may be called in for as little as two hours or up to eight hours a day. There may be gaps of a week or two without a shift. Alternatively you may be called back for consecutive-day coverage.

- Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school graduation or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate AND six months of responsible work experience which demonstrated the ability to deal tactfully with the public.
