Wells Fargo has committed to hire military spouses/domestic partners of actively serving military personnel and is seeking a Analytics Associate for the CTO Data & Analytics team.
The Homefront Heroes Hiring (HHH) Program is designed to attract and hire spouses and domestic partners of actively serving military personnel to career opportunities through a military spouse-specific virtual hiring event and onboarding program.

As an Analytics Associate you will support foundational analytics reporting and business analysis activities that enable datadriven decision making. This role applies a basic understanding of business needs to deliver simple analytical processes and insights with guidance from senior team members. The associate collaborates closely with technology and business partners to communicate findings develop documentation and support scalable data solutions. Success in this role requires adaptability strong communication skills and a commitment to quality risk awareness and continuous learning.
In this role you will:
Use data research capabilities to translate business problems and data needs into low complexity analyses and recommendations
Develop standard and customized reports or ad hoc analyses to be leveraged for recommendations
Provide updates to project logs monthly budget forecasts and contribute to monthly newsletters or operations reviews
Apply foundational analytics and business analysis skills to identify patterns trends and insights in data escalating questions or gaps as appropriate
Gather and document basic business and user requirements including simple design specifications user stories and process flows
Develop clear documentation summaries and simple reports that align with established standards and stakeholder needs
Use basic data programming and data solutions engineering concepts to source validate and analyze data sets with guidance
Execute routine work with accountability by following defined processes confirming priorities and communicating status and risks
Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving with respect to production or issuance issues
Assist with developing procedures and controls to maintain the accuracy and efficiency of processes and minimize risk
Receive direction from supervisor exercise independent judgment and partner with technology and other business groups
Required Qualifications:
6 months of Analytics experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
Desired Qualifications:
6 months of experience creating visual reports with Power BI
6 months of experience with data analysis and documentation
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings)
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
Ability to produce a copy of military orders including applicant name.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work outside of regular business hours
- May be required to serve in an on-call rotation for application support
- HHH Program Hires are expected to attend and participate in the Military Spouse Homefront Heroes Orientation and Onboarding Experience.
- Ability to work on-site at approved location listed
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
