Position Overview:
- The Data Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining validating migrating and monitoring business-critical data to support operational compliance and business objectives.
- This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy completeness quality and compliance across multiple systems and repositories.
- The specialist will support data governance activities maintain master data records perform quality reviews resolve data discrepancies and contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder experience.
- Target Companies: Pharmaceutical biotechnology healthcare life sciences regulated-industry data-management and business-services organizations with established master-data data-quality migration compliance or enterprise-system functions.
Responsibilities:
- Create maintain update and validate data records across business systems and repositories.
- Review analyze and reconcile data to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with established standards.
- Support data migration data quality and master data management activities.
- Identify investigate and resolve data inconsistencies missing information and compliance-related issues.
- Maintain audit trails review logs status trackers and documentation supporting data governance and operational activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders external vendors and cross-functional teams to gather validate and remediate data.
- Perform quality control reviews to ensure information is properly classified documented and maintained.
- Generate reports metrics and status updates for leadership and project teams.
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying gaps risks and opportunities to enhance data quality and operational effectiveness.
- Participate in project meetings working groups and cross-functional initiatives.
- Provide support and training on data management processes and best practices as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver excellent service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
- 2-3 years of experience with data management master data maintenance data quality data migration or related operational activities.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience maintaining documentation audit trails logs and reporting metrics.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including PivotTables lookups data validation and data reconciliation techniques.
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP Oracle data repositories or similar business applications preferred.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Bachelors degree in Business Data Analytics Information Management Supply Chain Life Sciences Information Technology or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in data management master data management data quality data migration operations compliance supply chain patient operations or related business functions.
- Experience working in pharmaceutical healthcare life sciences or regulated environments preferred.
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects system implementations or process improvement initiatives preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
- Experience in data management master data maintenance data quality data migration or related operational work.
- Experience maintaining documentation audit trails logs and metrics.
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP Oracle data repositories or comparable business applications.
- Experience in pharmaceutical healthcare life sciences or another regulated environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables lookups data validation and data reconciliation.
- Non-Technical Skills: Attention to detail Analytical thinking Problem-solving Clear written and verbal communication
- Performing quality-control reviews.
- Maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors on data remediation.
- Generating leadership reports and status updates.
- Experience in pharmaceutical healthcare life sciences or another regulated environment.
Pay Rate: $50.90-$53.99/Hour
