Job Description
- Conduct sampling preparation and analysis of materials using advanced analytical techniques such as ICP-OES PSD titration BET and TGA
- Maintain a safe clean and organized laboratory while adhering to all HS&E policies and standard operating procedures
- Develop optimize and validate analytical methods to support materials characterization and research initiatives
- Operate calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable data generation
- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D and technical teams to meet project goals and timelines
- Analyze and interpret experimental data clearly communicating findings to internal stakeholders
- Document experimental procedures results and observations in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry Materials Science Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline
- At least 1 year of laboratory experience working with chemicals and analytical instrumentation
- Strong commitment to laboratory safety and experience following safety protocols and audits
- Ability to manage multiple priorities maintain detailed records and communicate results effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and general computer skills
- Experience working with advanced analytical instrumentation and materials characterization techniques
- Familiarity with method development and validation in a research or industrial laboratory setting
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment
- Experience documenting work in electronic lab notebooks or data management systems
- Good manual dexterity and ability to handle delicate laboratory equipment
