Were seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Analytical Chemist to join our environmental laboratory in Round Rock TX.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Chemist who thrives in a fast-paced high-volume laboratory environment and is passionate about hands-on analytical instrumentation complex problem-solving and delivering high-quality data that directly supports environmental compliance public safety and critical regulatory decision-making.

What Youll Do

• Perform analysis on environmental and quality control samples in accordance with EPA methods and laboratory procedures
• Prepare digest and process samples using approved analytical methods SOPs and regulatory protocols
• Operate calibrate troubleshoot and maintain analytical instrumentation
• Review interpret validate and document analytical data within LIMS
• Perform QA/QC checks and identify instrument drift matrix interferences analytical discrepancies or sample anomalies requiring corrective action
• Support method development transfer verification optimization and troubleshooting activities
• Assist with CAPA investigations SOP updates audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and collaborate with team members to meet turnaround times and productivity goals
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry Environmental Science or a related scientific discipline
• 2 years of professional analytical laboratory experience in a regulated environment
• Proven hands-on experience operating calibrating maintaining and troubleshooting analytical instrumentation including ICP-MS GC-MS GC HPLC and IC
• Demonstrated experience with analytical method development optimization validation verification and implementation
• Working knowledge of laboratory quality systems including QA/QC data review documentation and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
