Job Summary: Analyst Operational Finance AnalystThe Operational Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in understanding performance and driving profitability within the organization. This role will work closely and collaboratively with various departments providing insights that support strategic business decisions and optimize financial performance. This is a critical role in ArchWell Healths maturation and is a fast-paced position that will enable high-quality personal development and / Responsibilities:Data Transparency and CommunicationPrepare monthly presentations with standard finance operational and clinical KPIs that enable market-level operating reviewsAggregate information across data sources to create a 360-view of performanceHelp in the development and production of dashboards and reporting tools that increase enterprise transparency and foster accountabilityStructure analytical results in an organized visual manner to tell a meaningful actionable storyTranslate complex quantitative data and information into actionable business Performance Monitoring:Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess business performance and find areas of improvementCollaborate with operational teams to identify unfavorable trendsPerform ad hoc analysis to identify drivers to improve financial resultsData Analysis:Compare performance across geographies to identify high- and low-performing centersPull and review data for ad hoc projects across a variety of financial and operational metricsCross-Functional Collaboration:Build strong and trusting relationships with market leaders to support and ensure awareness of issues and challengesCollaborate cross-functionally with finance accounting operations medical economics and other departments to provide transparency into resultsServe as a trusted advisor to business partners offering financial expertise insights and support to inform decision-making and drive business resultsRequired Skills/Abilities:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel SQL and PowerBIExcellent communication skills across verbal written and presentation applications with ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholdersSolid understanding of key performance metrics and financial statements with knowledge of drivers of a value-based care organization and/or health plans success preferredKeen attention to detail and accuracy complemented by problem-solving and analytical skillsProactive initiative in exploring and discovering opportunities to improve company performance through data analysisProven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong people skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build positive working relationshipsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Applied Math Statistics or related field requiredMinimum of 2-5 years relevant experience as an analyst focused on healthcare analytics decision support strategic finance operational finance FP&A or medical economicsProficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint including formulas PivotTables graphing and other reporting and presentation featuresExperience in data mining including PowerBI and SQL experienceEmbodies and serves as a role model of ArchWell Healths Values:Be compassionateStrive for excellenceEarn trustShow respectStay resilientAlways do the right thing
