Analyst III Category-Fresh

We are looking for an insightful and detail-oriented Category Analyst to support our Category Management team and drive profitable sales through effective vendor relationship management data analysis and this role you will work closely with the Category Merchandising & Pricing teams toachievedepartmental strategies and initiatives including shelf presentation assortment decisions cost negotiations promotional planning and product and program development.

What we askofyou:

Support Category Management:

• Assistin the development and execution of category plans to achieve sales and profitability targets

• Provide analytical supportto inform decision-making and strategy formulation

Vendor Relationship Management:

• Build andmaintainstrong relationships with vendors.

• Support cost negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and terms

• Collaborate with vendors on product and program development initiatives

Data Analysis:

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis toidentifytrends opportunities and areas for improvement

• Generate reports and insights to support category and merchandising strategies

• Monitor and analyze category performance metrics and KPIs

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Category Merchandising & Pricing teams to support shelf presentation and assortment decisions

• Assistin promotional planning and execution to drive sales and category growth.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of new products and programs.

Communication:

• Demonstratestrong communicationskills both verbal and written to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors

• Presentclearanalysis insights and recommendations to stakeholders

• Ensure alignment of category initiatives with overall business strategy

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experiencerequired.

• 2-4 years of experience in a related field preferably in Category Management Merchandising or a similar role.

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office particularly Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The salary range for this position is $86320-$129480 and will becommensuratewith backgroundexperienceaswell asinternal equity.
