We are looking for a stellar Analyst that embodies our core values to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team-orientated individual who has a positive attitude and the ability to produce quality work with an exceptional attention to deal. The Analyst will be involved with all aspects of the deal lifecycle and supporting the day-to-day management of the Bulfinch portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as an active member of both the Investment and Asset Management teams.
  • Support asset management activities including property-level decision-making investor reporting quarterly valuations and annual budget tracking.
  • Participate in transactions from initial identification through underwriting closing development day-to-day management and disposition.
  • Analyze investment and financing opportunities including financial underwriting due diligence market research ad hoc analysis and preparation of investment committee materials.
  • Prepare and evaluate sophisticated Microsoft Excel and Argus models across asset classes including waterfall and preferred equity analyses.
  • Support the construction team with permitting and development processes as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison with external parties for property tours execution of confidentiality agreements collection of market data and attendance at industry events.
  • Maintain proprietary databases and conduct market research to support acquisition efforts.
  • Identify and source potential investment opportunities in targeted markets.
  • Update and assist with drafting presentations for internal and external meetings.
  • Analyze and summarize deal-related documents including contracts leases term sheets and related materials.
  • Take ownership of ad hoc projects across the organization as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree required preferably with a concentration in finance real estate economics or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of related experience with a demonstrated track record of hard work achievement and strong performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Argus and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools and a proactive interest in applying them to commercial real estate workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask while producing high-quality work with efficiency and timeliness.
  • Familiarity with Yardi and/or Power BI preferred.
  • High degree of personal integrity and professionalism.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to take ownership of a broad range of assignments.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Positive attitude and good sense of humor.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $65000 - $85000 annually based on experience qualifications and overall skill set. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors assessed throughout the interview process.
