Job Description -

In this on-site role theFinance Analystprovides Financial/Accounting support for the client SRG/MDS business specifically Infection Prevention Manufacturing Plant in EL Paso TX. This includes providing financial support and leadership to Finance and Operations leaders playing a key role in establishing and achieving financial objectives and formulating and executing operations strategies. The position plays a critical role in managing manufacturing cost performance and driving continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end activities ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
  • Ensure accurate account reconciliations and financial integrity within SAP.
  • Perform detailed costing analysis including standard cost review and maintenance.
  • Support recurring financial reports summarizing in a timely manner identifying key drivers and working with cross-departmental teams to lead change through KPI management.
  • Support annual budget and rolling forecast process integrating operational and cost assumptions. Monitor performance on a weekly & monthly basis vs latest projection cycle and annual budget.
  • Support internal and external SOX Audits.
  • Drives continuous financial improvement through preparation/review of business cases inventory analysis new product and discontinuance analysis and spending analysis.
  • Ensures that financial reports and records are prepared in compliance with US GAAP and client financial policies.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Minimum qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Requires 2 years of relevant progressive accounting / finance experience in a manufacturing operations product costing manufacturing variances and inventory control financial analysis and budgeting & forecasting experience preferred
  • Requires a bachelors degree in accounting or finance.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables macros VLOOKUPS etc.)
  • ERP experience is necessary; specifically SAP experience is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills ability to communicate well with management of all levels and disciplines.
  • Knowledge of corporate accounting policies and procedures.
  • Self-driven proactive and seeks continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced matrixed challenging environment with strong attention to detail.
