The Apple Custom Silicon Management Group provides critical custom silicon for all mobile products including iPhone iPad Apple Watch and AppleTV. We are looking for a remarkable Analog Design Lead to work with multi-functional teams and external vendors to define develop and productize the next generation of custom silicon solutions.

Imagine yourself at the center of our hardware development effort where you will collaborate with all disciplines playing a strategic role of getting functional products to millions of customers quickly. As a part of the CSM (Custom Silicon Management) team responsible for the delivery of high-quality on-time silicon you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of silicon design.

Work on silicon spanning Health/Camera/Connectivity with the Systems and Platform teams to establish silicon efforts to develop integrate characterize and test first revision production worthy silicon per system requirements on continuous improvements in analog design methodology to achieve high quality first collaboratively with vendors to manage the development of new process technologies and next-generation architectures and circuit designs are properly verified validated and tested for long-term schedules and supporting multi-functional engineering efforts.

BS degree and 10 years relevant industry experiencenExperience designing analog and/or mixed-signal IC blocks

PhD and 5 years experience managing design teamsnExperience with multiple tape-outs reaching production with first pass siliconnAbility to drive and improve design methodology to achieve high quality first siliconnExperience with FPGA emulation silicon bring-up characterization and debugnAble to work with multi-functional teams within Apple and external vendors across geographical boundaries to resolve architectural and implementation challenges with an eye towards schedule
