This position will serve as the primary point of contact for fiscal and HR processes for the Advanced Media Productions (AMP) department. Additionally this role will assist COTA faculty with travel related information sharing processing purchases and reconciliation.
- COTA fiscal processing for faculty awards - Prepare process and submit fiscal transactions for faculty travel within COTA ensuring that expenses are charged to correct funds and accounts. Enter travel related transactions into the department FASS for COTA units as applicable. Assist COTA faculty with questions related to RSCA /grant/ other award related policies and expenses related to the purchase of travel materials and reimbursements; Refer COTA faculty to online resources or HR personnel as needed.
- AMP fiscal processing - Prepare process and submit financial transactions for all expenses in AMP ensuring that expenses are charged to the correct fund and account numbers. Using Data Warehouse reporting enter track and reconcile all AMP related expenses into the FASS. Enter update and reconcile all AMP pcard transactions and submit expense requests through CSUBuy/Concur.
- AMP HR processing - Process all AMP-related time-keeping transactions for staff and student employees. Draft student employee position descriptions and monitor student work hours. Facilitate the processing of student hires.

Administrative Support Coordinator II
Salary placement is determined by the education experience and qualifications the candidate brings to the position internal equity and the hiring departments fiscal resources.
- Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is$2183.50 (Step 1) $2609.50 (Step 10) per month per month commensurate with candidates education experience skills and training.
- CSU Classification Salary Range (Part-Time 0.50 FTE): $2183.50 (Step 1) - $3181 (Step 20) per month commensurate with candidates education experience skills and training.

The ideal candidate demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of university infrastructure policies and procedures along with excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively engage with both campus and external communities. They possess strong organizational abilities and the initiative to manage tasks independently while also maintaining a broad strategic perspective that allows them to anticipate challenges assess impacts and develop effective solutions. Proficiency in PC applications including Word Excel and ERP systems within a campus CMS environment is essential. The candidate excels in interpersonal interactions across all levels leveraging strong negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve results and drive projects forward efficiently all while consistently demonstrating outstanding communication and organizational strengths.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Equivalent to four years of administrative support experience required.
At least two years experience processing fiscal transactions in a fast-paced environment preferred
Knowledge of travel policies and experience effectively understanding and applying complex policies preferred
Familiarity with ERP software (Concur CSUBuy PeopleSoft etc.) a plus
