Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an Ambulatory Device Technician (Electrophysiology / MRI) for an exciting Contract assignment in New York NY.
Responsibilities:
- Perform pacemaker and ICD interrogation and programming procedures
- Support electrophysiology and MRI-related device workflows and operations
- Assist with electrophysiology evaluations studies and monitoring procedures
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and charge entry processes
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and EP Lab staff to support patient care
- Educate patients families and staff regarding electrophysiological monitoring and device procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental protocols
- Support workflow coordination within advanced imaging and electrophysiology settings
- Utilize computer systems and EPIC documentation systems effectively
- Maintain professionalism and strong communication with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited cardiac electrophysiology technology program preferred
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience required
- Experience with pacemaker/ICD interrogation and programming required
- Background in cardiac device technology electrophysiology cardiology or MRI operations required
- EP Lab and electrophysiology studies experience preferred
- EMR documentation and charge entry experience preferred (EPIC preferred)
- Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills required
- Computer literacy required
- BLS ACLS and PALS certifications preferred (AHA only accepted)
- Active NY License required at submission (pending licenses not accepted)
