AM Float Custodian -Lindbergh Schools

• Full-time position 40 hours/week
• Schedule: 12 monthsMonday-Friday 5:30am - 2:00pm
• Hourly rate: $17.34 subject to experience

Summary: Keeps the districts school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Other duties may be assigned.

• Cleans/Disinfects and preserves designated spaces in district buildings.
• Regular custodial duties:
• General cleaning trash removal sweep/vacuum window cleaning restrooms breakrooms snow removal buffing & waxing of floors and other duties as assigned
• Restocks disposable items and provides lead custodian with inventory usage and data.
• Operation & care of mechanical equipment such as: ride on scrubbers side/side scrubbers wet vacs and othercleaning equipment.
• Set up and take down of specific event needs such as: tarps chairs tables and other specified needs per event.
• Travel Requirements
• Arrive on time and work at various buildings within the district for staff shortages special events or operational needs.
• Assists with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Monitor and maintain security of school premises.
• Removal of snow ice from exterior entrances and doorways
• Ability to work and communicate with a diverse workforce.
• Ability to adhere to safety practices proper use of chemicals personal protective equipment etc.
• Overtime as needed
• Other duties as assigned
