ID: Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:00) Description: PT Shift: Therapists can choose five 8 hour days or four 10 hour days. We block 14 evals per week in each therapists schedule the rest are treats. We see patients one on one. We schedule 60 min for evals. Most treats are 30 minutes but some are 45 or 60 depending on the circumstances. We see about 70% ortho patients 30 % neuro. We have a pelvic health therapist 2 lymphedema therapists an LSVT program chronic pain therapist vestibular therapist. We see a variety of diagnoses. We have an ortho MD office at Christian that refers us most of our ortho patients. We have PTs PTAs OTs and SLP. Some multidisciplinary patients. Therapist will receive Epic training during typically do 1.5 days of hospital orientation then 1.5 days of department orientation. Will then start with patient load. Will give additional charting time the first week or two. We are business casual. Therapists can choose five 8 hour days or four 10 hour days. There will be chart review time twice a day for 30 min for 8 hour days and 3 times per day for 30 min for 10 hour 8 hour shifts:The shifts would be 10:00-1830 on Monday and Wednesdays 9:00-17:30 on Tuesday Thursday 10 hour shifts: There would be 2 days 8:00-18:30 and 2 days 7:0 #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO: Max of 7 days of RTO (7 days requires manager approval along with any holiday RTO). No new RTO after submission. No RTO allowed the first week of an assignment. License Information: MO: Submit without license OK; requires MO or compact (no issuance if tied to another compact state). IL: License in hand required at time of submittal. Compact: Must match permanent residence otherwise submit for update confirm ETA. Radius/Local Rules: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius. No local travelers allowed except for Patient Care Technicians Certified Nurse Assistants and Medical Assistants. Tenure Policy / Returning Staff and Tenure Policy (excluding Interim Leadership and RNFA roles): 18 months with a 3-month break in service required. Permanent employees (across BJC and/or Saint Lukes) must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler. Floating: All travelers will float within service line. Contract Details: Confirm shift in submittal (e.g. 3x12 4x12 etc.). Please note contract length is firm. Booking Rules: BJC does not permit contractors to sign a contract and subsequently cancel it in order to accept another BJC assignment. Contractors are expected to fulfill the terms of their signed agreement in full. Mid-contract cancellations for the purpose of booking a different BJC assignment are not allowed. If a contract is canceled at the contractor s discretion they must complete an assignment elsewhere before being considered for a new BJC opportunity. Compliance Deadlines/Requirements : Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Monday of the week before initial start date. Fit testing: *Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions Certifications: For Barnes-Jewish Hospital location only: ACLS Required All RNs (except Behavioral Health Case Manager Outpatient) are required to obtain ACLS by compliance hard document deadline. Certifications not required at time of submittal unless otherwise noted in the job description. Labs: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing Modules: Modules are billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr.
