The technician will operate radiographic equipment under the supervision of the physician while providing physician guided diagnostic imaging data during all studies performed in the Cardiac Cath addition the Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist performs various radiographic exams and processes images on various archival systems and is professionally accountable for submitting high-quality images to PACS participates in performance improvement activities in the department and demonstrates excellent customer service to patients. Correctly identifies patients for the procedures performed and their respective images. Follows Infection Control policies radiation policies and good body mechanics. Maintains appropriate continuing education credits. Complies with all Medical Center and Department policies and procedures. Requires ARRT CRT and California fluoroscopy license.
