Job Summary
Must submit 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance of contractResponsibilities: Performs diagnostic imaging using ARDMS protocols for the following exams: OB/GYN; abdomen; pelvic and endovaginal; small parts including breast thyroid and scrotum; vascular including DVT arterial legs carotids. Receives patients explains procedures and selects appropriate equipment to ensure good patient care. Echocardiography is a plus. Office Duties. Performs office jobs in a small department including but not limited to: answering phones scheduling patients exams printing reports retrieving charts researching problems ordering supplies copying and mailing exams to various facilities and helping providers. Collaborates with SEARHC staff to create a positive working environment. Documentation of QA and QC for SEARHC imaging modalities. Documents: high level disinfection and other information per Joint Commission :Education:Associates degree with certification in diagnostic of an accredited Ultrasound program preferredExperience:1 year Ultrasound experienceLicense and Certifications:ARDMSKnowledge Skills & Abilities:KnowledgeExtensive knowledge of the anatomy and physiology used in standard at independently performing in oral and written in organizing and cleaning work areas and maintaining equipment in serviceable to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with radiologists providers patients computer technologists and SEARHC staff.
