You will be challenged with unique problemsnspanning the full stack - from real-time embedded firmware to system frameworks - as younbuild and develop software solutions for current and next-generation makes this role unique is the end-to-end ownership: our team owns critical softwarencomponents on both sides of the wireless connection - the embeddednfirmware running on accessories and the system software on iOS/ visionOS devices. This dualnownership gives us the power to craft seamless connected experience and innovate across thenentire stack. Whether youre debugging a tricky Bluetooth protocol issue optimizing audionlatency or implementing a new feature that spans accessory and host youll be solving uniquenchallenges that directly impact millions of users every day.

Develop and maintain embedded Bluetooth stack features on resource-constrainednaccessories with real-time performance requirementsnDesign and implement system software daemons and frameworks on iOS/visionOSnBring up new audio products and chipsetsnEnsure secure and private wireless communications across Apples ecosystemnDebug complex issues spanning iOS-device software and accessory firmwarenCreate diagnostic tools telemetry systems and testing infrastructure for cross-platformnfeatures working closely with QAnCollaborate with a wide variety of cross-functional teams to build and deliver end-to-endnexperiencesnDrive innovation on emerging wireless technologies and product features

Bachelorʼs degree in computer science computer engineering electrical engineering ornequivalent experiencenStrong C/C programming skills with attention to code quality performance andnmaintainabilitynSolid understanding of systems programming concepts: memory management concurrencynstate machines and event-driven architecturesnStrong analytical and debugging skills - ability to dig deep into complex problemsnThrive in collaborative environments with excellent written and verbal communication skillsnComfortable leveraging AI and LLM-based development tools (e.g. Claude Code) to enhance productivity across coding debugging and documentation workflows

Experience with Objective-C Objective-C or SwiftnExperience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) embedded systemsnfirmware device drivers or low-level system softwarenKnowledge of real-time audio or wireless technologiesnPassion for product ownership and track record of delivering features end-to-end
