Works under minimal DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:GeneralHas intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work modify replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized area of repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering dataCommunicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals service bulletins drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair replacement or operational following duties will apply based on the area to which the employee is assigned:Airframe Cabin Interiors:Remove/reinstall interior linings cargo bay liners floor panelsRemove/reinstall lavatories galleys seats windscreensRemove/reinstall/adjust doorsUse of basic hand tools (i.e. sockets wrenches ratchets screw drivers pliers etc.)EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or and/or Power Plant License of skill customarily acquired after completing ATS apprenticeship program or two years or more related commercial/military aircraft experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects employee will also be required to stand; walk; and stoop kneel crouch or employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 to handle and climb ladders and aircraft The base salary for this position is $23.50 - $37.00/DOE (expressed as hourly for non-exempt) exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at ATS your final base hourly rate will be based on factors such as skills education and/or addition to those factors we consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range noted above is the full base hourly range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
