Position Aircraft Engine Technician

Location: St. Louis MO

We are currently seeking experienced Aircraft Engine Technicians to support regional aircraft engine maintenance operations in St. Louis MO. This role is ideal for technicians with hands-on turbine engine maintenance experience in a commercial airline regional aircraft or MRO environment.

Summary

The Aircraft Engine Technician is responsible for performing inspection maintenance repair troubleshooting and component replacement activities on aircraft engines and related systems. This position supports engine maintenance operations while ensuring all work is completed in accordance with approved technical data FAA regulations and company quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance inspections repairs and troubleshooting on aircraft engines and related components

  • Perform engine component removal and installation

  • Inspect engine components for wear damage and serviceability

  • Troubleshoot engine discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective actions

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled engine maintenance

  • Read and interpret engine maintenance manuals technical publications and engineering documentation

  • Use precision measuring tools and maintenance equipment as required

  • Perform operational and functional checks following maintenance activities

  • Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities

  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations company procedures and quality standards

  • Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition

  • Follow all company safety procedures and policies

  • Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education Experience & Certification

High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Aircraft engine maintenance experience required

  • Turbine engine maintenance experience required

  • Commercial airline regional aircraft or MRO experience preferred

  • CF34 engine experience strongly preferred

  • CRJ or regional jet maintenance experience preferred

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.

Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of turbine engine maintenance practices

  • Experience inspecting troubleshooting and repairing aircraft engines

  • Ability to read and interpret engine maintenance manuals and technical documentation

  • Experience performing engine component removal and installation

  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools and aircraft maintenance equipment

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to accurately complete maintenance documentation

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced airline or MRO maintenance environment

  • Ability to lift stand climb bend and work in various physical positions throughout the shift
