Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Composite Technician
LOCATION: Kinston NC
PAY RATE: $39.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier aerospace manufacturing company.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Assemble pre-fit and bond metal composite and laminate aircraft parts and assemblies

  • Read and follow engineering drawings work instructions and manufacturing specifications

  • Operate autoclaves hydraulic presses ovens and other bonding equipment

  • Perform sanding trimming sealing and surface preparation tasks

  • Use hand tools measuring instruments and shop math to complete work accurately

  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and engineering standards are met

  • Handle solvents and cleaning solutions safely following company procedures

  • Support production flow perform minor machine maintenance and assist team members when needed

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following OSHA and FOD standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of aviation production or equivalent manufacturing experience

  • Experience with composite lay-ups bonding assembly and fabrication

  • Ability to read blueprints sketches and work instructions

  • Basic tool usage and precision measurement skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Ability to work any shift including overtime as required

  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of aerospace or aviation manufacturing experience

  • Vocational or technical training in composite fabrication or aircraft assembly

  • Experience using SAP and Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of aircraft structures and aerospace manufacturing processes
