Air Export Agent

The Export Coordinator - Airsupports international air export operations by coordinating shipment activities and ensuring accurate timely execution. They assist with booking documentation and shipment tracking while working closely with customers carriers and internal teams. They support ontime departures and regulatory compliance.

Compensation: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating air export shipments from booking through departure under established procedures.
• Prepare and process air export documentation including air waybills commercial invoices and packing lists.
• Enter and maintain shipment data accurately in CargoWise and other systems including data entry pickup/delivery scheduling airline bookings AES entry
• Track shipment milestones and update internal systems and customers with status information.
• Communicate with airlines trucking providers warehouses and overseas agents to support shipment execution.
• Follow export compliance requirements airline rules and internal SOPs.
• Identify documentation discrepancies or shipment issues and escalate to senior team members for resolution.
• Support rate entry charge validation and billing accuracy as directed.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to shipment status and documentation.
• Maintain organized and accurate shipment records.
• Support team workflows during peak volumes or service disruptions.
• All other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.
• 2-4 yr Freight Forwarding Experience required
• Import Experience a plus
• Ensure all customers SOP instructions are adhered to and Omnis KPIs and guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; undergraduate degree in logistics supply chain business or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in logistics transportation or related operations roles.
• Basic understanding of air freight and international shipping concepts preferred.
• Experience with CargoWise or similar TMS/forwarding tools or demonstrated ability to learn systems quickly.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and timemanagement skills.
• Ability to follow defined procedures and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling and protecting sensitive information.

• Technical: Proficient with common office technologies including Windows PCs Microsoft O365 (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint etc.) and web conferencing (Teams Zoom Webex etc.).
