A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for AI Prompt Engineer.
Position type: Full Time Contract
Duration: 13 Months
Location: Charlotte NC AND Chandler AZ (3 days onsite/2 Days Remote)
As AI Prompt Engineer you will:
- AI & Prompt Engineering: Design refine and optimize context-aware LLM prompts for specialized cyber defense threat intelligence and vulnerability validation workflows.
- Harness & Framework Development: Build automated evaluation harnesses and benchmarking frameworks to rigorously test prompt accuracy robustness and drift over time.
- Vulnerability Analysis & Correlation: Create automated workflows to ingest normalize and analyze security telemetry across SAST DAST WAF logs and perimeter scanning feeds.
- False Positive Reduction: Develop structured validation techniques and guardrails to ensure AI-generated findings are precise actionable and verified.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with security researchers penetration testers and software engineers to automate manual triage and accelerate incident analysis at enterprise scale.
- Applied AI Research: Continuously monitor LLM advancements to pilot novel AI capabilities for proactive attack surface management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- AI & Machine Learning: Advanced prompt engineering (few-shot chain-of-thought structured outputs) LLM evaluation harnesses automated benchmarking and agentic workflows.
- Cybersecurity Domains: Vulnerability management (CVE/CWE triage) attack surface management (ASM) perimeter reconnaissance and WAF testing/tuning.
- Tooling & Code Analysis: Working familiarity with SAST/DAST tooling outputs and security telemetry correlation.
- Data & Engineering: Practical experience querying and managing datasets using relational databases (specifically PostgreSQL) and scripting automated pipelines.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Demonstrated capability to minimize hallucinations and validate high-stakes security findings.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
