Job Summary

HMs are required to provide the following information such as:The AI Adoption Specialist provides embedded hands-on support to accelerate the integration and operational use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI-adjacent tools across Air Combat Command (ACC) HQ A589 staff located at JBLE and virtually to 15 AF A589 and 16 AF A589. This is a practitioner-first role: the incumbent works alongside mission personnel learn their workflows identifies practical AI/RPA opportunities and builds user proficiency through applied instruction and collaborative solution development. Deep subject-matter expertise is not required; practical applied proficiency and the ability to foster cultural adoption are AI Adoption Specialist serves as a trusted advisor and enabler ensuring AI and RPA tools are effectively identified prototyped integrated and sustained within daily operations. The role emphasizes user engagement and mission-driven technical support across both classified and unclassified Job Functions:Core Tasks:Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans for AI/RPA integration across ACC A589 directorate and and synthesize data to inform AI/RPA adoption strategies and measure mission AI/RPA integration activities across multiple functional areas and and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support AI/RPA AI/RPA opportunities through direct observation of workflows and user and evaluate the effectiveness of AI/RPA tools and provide recommendations for applied hands-on training to users on AI/RPA tools in A589 mission-relevant technical advisory support on AI/RPA integration ensuring compliance with cybersecurity data governance and classification the prototyping testing and transition of AI/RPA solutions into sustained : KGS Personnel Requisition Form/Position DescriptionTranslate technical AI/RPA concepts into A589 mission-relevant guidance for operational Core Tasks:Assist in the development of training materials standard operating procedures (SOPs) and user guides for AI/RPA with AI/RPA Solutions Architect to conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training user-driven innovation challenges (e.g. solution-a-thons ideation workshops).Maintain knowledge repositories and update materials based on user feedback and evolving tool in governance bodies technical exchanges and working groups related to AI/RPA Skills and Abilities (KSAs)Core Knowledge:Knowledge of AI RPA and machine learning concepts and their operational application in DoD/IC mission of cybersecurity data governance and records management policies applicable to DoD networks (NIPRNet SIPRNet AFSCI).Knowledge of DoD and Air Force AI ethical principles data strategies and governance of IT integration and secure network operations across classified and unclassified of performance measurement KPIs and mission outcome Knowledge:Knowledge of Air Force information security OPSEC and CUI handling of enterprise AI and RPA platforms (e.g. Ask Sage and other DoW derived tools).Core Skills:Skill in delivering hands-on mission-relevant instruction to technical and non-technical in identifying practical AI/RPA use cases through direct observation and user in prototyping and testing AI/RPA solutions in operational in translating complex technical concepts into actionable user-friendly in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships and facilitating cross-functional Skills:Skill in creating basic knowledge materials advise on SOP development and job aids tailored to mission-specific in data analysis and reporting to inform adoption strategies and measure in using collaboration and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau SharePoint DAF365).Core Abilities:Ability to work independently and proactively identify AI/RPA opportunities without waiting to be to adapt support and instruction to each users proficiency level and mission to shift fluidly between hands-on coaching applied instruction and practical solution to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including senior leaders technical personnel and end to maintain TS/SCI clearance and comply with all security and operational Abilities:Ability to learn and apply new AI/RPA tools to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced Environment and Physical DemandsLocation and Environment:Primary Work Location: Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) VirginiaClassified Facilities: Regular work in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and secure spacesWorkspace: Government-provided office space in secure facility; access to NIPRNet SIPRNet and collaboration toolsClassified Work: Regular access to classified environments (SIPRNet AFSCI) required for coordination and stakeholder engagementTravel & Schedule Expectations:In-person presence at JBLE during normal duty hours ( EST MondayFriday excluding federal holidays).No Travel at this time; however subject to change as required to support AI/RPA adoption activities coordinated through ACC in both classified and unclassified environments; ability to operate in SCIFs and meet all physical security to sit stand and use computers for extended periods;
