Lifesteps is hiring a Part-Time Child Care Staff Substitute in the Butler area.

Position Summary:

Under the guidance of Supervisor Childrens Services ensures the needs of the children are met and assists in the implementation and direction of daily routines and activities.

This part-time position works up to 19.5 hours per week - Monday through Friday hours with the schedule varying.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED and one of the following:
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
• 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education Child Development Special Education Elementary Education or Human Services field.
• 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education Child Development Special Education Elementary Education or Human Services field and 1250 hours of work experience related to the care and development of children.
• 2500 hours of work experience related to the care and development of children.
• Able to multi-task and work in a team environment.

Preferred:

• Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development Special Education Elementary Education or Human Services field
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development Special Education Elementary Education or Human Services field
